Yeah, that would be good.
Another thing to note is that reapers can die after all 10 are completed, they just cant have things cast on them after that time. A dryder cast meteor shower on a reaper just before we won, and the 3 meteor hits killed it, and we lost. Change it to cant take damage whilst at it if possible.

go with a guild group or people you trust. i think making the reapers invincible afterwards was a waste anyways, all it did was help the sc teams; any groups that went thru and actually cleared the whole thing wouldn't have this problem anyways.
*not saying sc isn't actually clearing... you get the point though.

So gameplay should be challenging, limited and restricted based on fragile NPC deaths resulting in a party wipe? I'm all for increasing the challenge but in such a way that the players' actions determine victory instead of the AI's.

I agree with Fez you should either be near or heading to a shrine at 10/10 get your chest then go do your farming with left over cons cuz thats what you where doing in the first place. Change you priorities finish, chest, farm rather then finish farm chest Saves you all the grief.

Poorly designed part of a game where you have to SAVE THE NPC from the ENEMY MOBS. How about making it so the quest doesn't update until the webs are dead?
Nobody clearing the wastes is going to leave coldfires and smites around to kill the Ice King, because he'll die before the second wave of webs anyway...so the problem here is the webs themselves. Maybe they're not really griefing, maybe they're just noobs who teleport out when the quest updates and you get 10/10 thinking it's invulnerable already. Oh guess what...your team died because you're a noob.
Plain and simple solution to a quest where you have to save an NPC: Make it update ONLY when the NPC is saved. It's a bug where it updates as complete on the second wave of a 3-wave quest whether they're dead or not. Don't make that NPC invulnerable when you get 10/10, because how did you save the guy just by tanking webs for a minute? You port out and guess what...webs run up to him and kill him. You didn't save a damn thing.
